How do I make an appointment?
Schedule your appointment at WC Online.
Who can visit the Writing Center?
What are the Writing Center’s hours of operation?
How will my teacher know I’ve been to the Writing Center?
What should I bring and what kinds of questions should I ask in the session?
If you have a draft of your paper, we encourage you to send it to your tutor before your appointment. If you haven’t written anything yet, that’s ok too! During the appointment, we can address whatever concerns you have about your paper. It’s up to you what to discuss during the appointment—whether that’s just brainstorming, your thesis, paragraph transitions, or whatever else you may be concerned about. Keep in mind that we are not just here to edit your paper—we are here to help you become a better writer.

Is the Writing Center only online?
Due to concerns about our tight quarters, the Writing Center will remain online-only through the Fall 2020 semester. Our tutors are now trained to specifically help you in an online environment and can assist you at any stage of the writing process. Please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about our online setup.
