At the USU Writing Center, our main goal is to help students become independent writers for life. We strive to:
PLEASE ADVISE: The Writing Center offers supplemental tutoring and guidance for the improvement of English and writing skills. Tutoring provided by the Writing Center neither alters nor replaces the guidelines provided by course instructors or the writing and research policies provided by Utah State University. All students are ultimately responsible for understanding their own instructors’ expectations and the university’s academic honesty/integrity policies.

Open: September 8 - December 11, Mon. - Fri. 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Mon. - Thur. 7:00 - 9:00 PM
Get help during the end of the semester at the library by coming to Write Now! Drop by the Merrill-Cazier Library Room 122 for help from writing tutors, librarians, and computer lab assistants.

The Science Writing Center is open Monday-Thursday from
Monday-Wednesday: open tutoring hours. Thursdays: large group SupplementaI Instruction (SI) sessions on topics such as lab reports.
The Science Writing Center space is not available September 16,17, and 24; no Science Writing Center hours on those days.
