Our Goal:

At the USU Writing Center, our main goal is to help students become independent writers for life. We strive to:

  • Teach students to implement writing concepts discussed in class.
  • Cultivate the skills students need to create effective documents.
  • Increase the confidence of student writers.

PLEASE ADVISE: The Writing Center offers supplemental tutoring and guidance for the improvement of English and writing skills. Tutoring provided by the Writing Center neither alters nor replaces the guidelines provided by course instructors or the writing and research policies provided by Utah State University. All students are ultimately responsible for understanding their own instructors’ expectations and the university’s academic honesty/integrity policies.
